Tanabata Star Festival Lunch

Tanabata star festival bento lunch

I enjoy celebrating the Japanese festival Tanabata. My neighbor (and Japanese student) and I made this Tanabata themed lunch.

Container: EasyLunchBoxes

Top Left: Brownie with star shaped powdered sugar (sprinkled sugar in a star shaped stencil)

Bottom Left: Stars and Planets snack (with Gerber Graduates – stars, and O shaped cereal), we made the Tanabata pick with printable shrinky dinks and this image that we colored.

Right Side: Star rice balls made using a small star rice mold, carrots (cut with star cookie cutter), celery, blackberries
