Read a book, watch the movie, eat themed food was on our 100 list of summer activities this year. The boys decided on a Spiderman theme – graphic novel, movie, lunches.
Left Side: Spiderman raspberry pancake (I added some frozen raspberries to the pancake batter), Cheddar cheese (eyes), small container of maple syrup (not in photo)
Top Right: Red bell pepper with blue spider drawn on a tortilla with blue food coloring marker
Bottom Right: Apple with chocolate and white candy melt details
I made this for my salsa and rice loving nephew.
Left Side: Nishiki rice with salsa, spinach and cheese details, spinach background
Top Right: Blueberries
Bottom Right: Pretzel sticks spider web with chocolate and M&M
I consider this lunch the worst of this bunch. It looks strange and not really Spiderman themed. I made it for myself. I was lazy and did not figure out a way to do the webbing on the tomato and watermelon.
Left Side: Penne pasta with olive oil, Parmesan cheese, and spinach, cherry tomato, cheddar cheese details
Top Right: Peanuts
Bottom Right: Watermelon with feta eyes, blueberries
