My husband and I took our nephews to the zoo. Of course I made themed lunches for each of us. They were quick to make with cookie cutters. The only template I had to make was for the flamingo.
My husband loves pizza for lunch so I made an elephant pizza for him.
Container: EasyLunchBoxes
Contents: Broccoli, Elephant shaped cheese pizza, peanuts, strawberries
I prepared this flamingo lunch for myself. I tried putting an eye on it but thought it looked better without.
Container: EasyLunchBoxes
Contents: Broccoli, brazil nuts, spinach, Naan with homemade strawberry cream cheese
My 12 year old nephew requested a penguin lunch.
Container: EasyLunchBoxes
Contents: Penguin pizza, spinach leaves, penguin shaped cucumber, Penguins crackers
My nephew who is now 10 ate this elephant themed lunch. My cookie cutter was too big for the bread so I cut the head out separate. I should have added an ear.
Container: EasyLunchBoxes
Contents: Granola bar, jelly sandwich on wheat bread, candy eye, peanuts, green pepper
Sounds like a great trip with fun lunches… but no giraffes??? Hope you saw some there!
This is so adorable!
Thanks!
If you have a huge appetite you can eat an elephant for lunch…just kidding! To get one of those cute lunches I could travel with you to the zoo!
I’ve just really been away fro all the blogs,Kathy, but I see that you are doing just as darling work as ever!
Awww I love how everyone had a different lunch. What a thoughtful way to make the zoo trip extra special.
All so cute!
Thanks Cristi!
These are all gorgeous! Love how you made strawberry cream cheese for the pink flamingo – so clever!
