This week I had my niece, 5 nephews and my sister-in-law over for lunch. Since I had recently received the new CuteZCute Cuddle Palz I thought it would be the perfect time to use the set for our crowd of 8. I made bento lunches for my three youngest nephews and the rest of us had lunch on a plate (pasta, vegetables, fruit, cheese) with cute Cuddle Palz tortilla chips, muffins, and cookies.
These cutters were easy to use and clean afterwards which is always a plus. I loved that the faces had a stamp and a cutter side. I used the stamp for the cookies and the cutter side for the sandwiches and tortilla chips.
My 9 year old nephew requested a Koala lunch. He helped to assemble it.
Contents: Strawberry jam sandwich on wheat bread, sugar snap peas, hazelnuts, and strawberries.
I made this simple bear lunch for my 6 year old nephew.
Contents: Red pepper, red grapes, peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwich on wheat bread
I made this simple tiger lunch for my 3 year old nephew.
Contents: Baby carrots, blueberries, cheese sandwich on wheat bread
I was inspired by this to make Cuddle Palz tortilla chips. I used flour tortillas, brushed with olive oil and baked. We served them with salsa. Everyone enjoyed eating these adorable chips.
Originally I planned to use the Cuddle Palz with cheese for the faces on these apple muffins. But since I had the pieces from my tortilla chips, I saved time and used what I already had. My 9 year old nephew put the faces on the muffins.
I made cut-out sugar cookies and sprinkled with sanding sugar before baking. I decorated the tigers with a Wilton’s Black Decorating Gel tube I had leftover from our How to Train Your Dragon Viking Ship.
I had so much fun using the Cuddle Palz set that I know I will use it again soon. It has so many possibilities to create fun food. Please visit the CuteZCute website for information and inspiration.
