Sometimes I don’t know what inspired a particular theme. In this case, I know that I wanted to do another shaped bread. I also wanted to make a holiday themed lunch. Somehow I came up with candy cane. Again, I was fortunate for my cutter collection as I had a mini candy cane cutter.

Candy Canes: Homemade french bread dough with a little cherry juice in one half. I did not want it to taste too much of cherry so the color difference is subtle. Mini candy canes (cheddar cheese with food marker details)
Mini Candy Canes: Apple
Vegetable: Radish with actual candy cane
