Homemade Ramen Lunch

On New Years Day, my niece made homemade ramen. She did most of the work. I only helped with the broth, some toppings and prepared the dessert. Five of us enjoyed the delicious ramen with toppings (my friend Carol joined us). We reused some table decorations from the night before. It was an extraordinary start to the new year!

Ramen – she used this for the broth, this for the noodles


  • Mushrooms sautéed in butter
  • Spinach sautéed with a little sesame oil and soy sauce
  • Shredded carrot
  • Corn

Snickerdoodles – served warm from the oven
