My friend Carol joined me for a dinner of homemade gnocchi and a game of Scrabble. I decided on gnocchi because I still had not used my gnocchi board. Now that I have used it, I want to use it again. It was fun!
Blue Cheese Sauce (I did not use as much blue cheese as the recipe suggests)
Grapefruit with Ricotta and Honey – segmented red grapefruit served on top of a dollop of ricotta cheese, drizzle of honey
My critique of the meal: My gnocchi dough was slightly soft since I was overly concerned about making them too hard. I had to use extra flour with my board (shown in photo above) but they were still delicious! The roasted asparagus was enjoyable. I neglected to photograph our dessert but it was attractive and satisfying.
