This year to celebrate February and Valentine’s Day, I have 3 Heart and Animal themed lunches. They feature mashed potatoes, rice, and quesadillas. This first lunch is a cheddar mashed potato giraffe with heart shaped markings. I made it for my companion Dennis.

Left Side: Giraffe – cheddar mashed potatoes cooled then shaped with a cookie cutter, carrot hearts (cut with a mini cutter), spinach and oak leaf lettuce details, zucchini and tomatoes sauteed with a little vegetable bullion

Bottom Right: Pink grapefruit

I made this cute Bear holding a paper Valentine chain for myself. This cheerful bear was an awesome packed lunch.

Who can say no to a dinosaur quesadilla? Dennis ate this meal. He also had the small round quesadillas scraps with the dinosaur cut out.
