Lunch on a Roll

Swirl Bread Lunch

I like any excuse to make homemade bread. I thought it would be fun to make swirl bread and theme the lunch with roll up food. I made two of these lunches, one for my husband and myself while out and about with two young nephews.

Container: EasyLunchBoxes

Vegetable: Carrot and Cucumber cut thin with a Mandoline slicer. I rolled them up together and used a toothpick to secure.

Fruit: Raspberries

Bread & Cheese: French bread dough (half plain, half with shredded carrot), I made two long ropes, rolled up together and baked. Thin sliced cheddar and Swiss cheese rolled up together.
