Father’s Day weekend brought our family together with my parents at their lake house. My brother, my sister-in-law, and I enjoyed a wonderful visit filled with great conversation, a view of the lake, and a special homemade pierogi meal that made the weekend even more memorable.

Pierogi’s: Pierogi dough, Cabbage and Cream Cheese Pierogi, Spinach and Feta Pierogi (I used fresh spinach chopped in food processor), boiled, then fried in butter. Served with sour cream and mustard.

Sour Cream Cucumber Salad: Peeled sliced cucumber, sour cream, salt and pepper
