I made this dog themed lunch for a co-worker. She was thrilled and loved it! It is exciting to make food for different people because it often provides new theme and food ideas. This co-worker suggested a dog theme and since her last dog was a black lab, I decided to try for a dark dog. This was my first time to make a black bean cake, it was easy to shape with a cookie cutter.

Left Side: Dog – Black Bean and Brown Rice Cakes – Use a dog shaped cookie cutter (I sprayed the metal cookie cutter with cooking spray but I am not sure if it was necessary), cheese details, assorted lettuce, carrot bones (mini clay cutter)

Bottom Right: Raspberries

Above the Box: Salsa, Greek Yogurt with a splash of lime juice in Mini Dippers
