Thy Friend Obadiah Book Seagull Themed Lunch

Seagull themed bento lunch

Today my lunch was inspired by “Thy Friend Obadiah” by Brinton Turkle. It was a 1970 Caldecott Honor Book and I still have the book from my childhood collection. Reading this book over and over again is a treasured memory.

Container: ECO Lunchboxes

Contents: Seagull – hot cooked Nishiki rice (pack into a cookie cutter by pressing down with plastic wrap then carefully remove cookie cutter), salsa and black beans, blueberries and raspberries

I like your image of the seagull and the lunch sounds yummy. I have never read that book so I’ll have to look for it!
