Today I am honoring the book “Corduroy” by Don Freeman. Perhaps this does not really look like Corduroy but I think he is cute. I made this lunch for myself but I had help eating the extra button shaped peanut butter cookies.

Container: Fit & Fresh Bento Lunch Kit

Top: Corduroy – chilled mashed potatoes cut with a cookie cutter and brushed on soy sauce, clothes – wilted spinach (put fresh spinach in the microwave for a few seconds), button made from mashed potato with toothpick holes, eyes dried blueberries, mouth food coloring spread on with a toothpick, cooked broccoli
