Squirrel Shaped Bread

Squirrel bread lunch

I made this squirrel themed bread lunch for my nephew. I bought an assorted pack of doughnut holes and the kids (1 niece and 2 nephews) had fun arguing over who would get which leftover doughnuts. I rarely buy doughnuts so they were very popular!

Container: EasyLunchBoxes

Top Left: Doughnut holes with Nutella, chocolate sprinkles, pretzel sticks (I first made these years ago – before I had a blog, I can’t find the original source)

Bottom Left: Oak leaf shaped cucumber (one with skin showing – used cookie cutter)

Right Side: Homemade bread shaped as a squirrel with food marker detail, Cheddar cheese acorns (used cookie cutter)

This lunch is so cute. I love the ideas of cutting out leaves and acorns from cucumber and cheese. So effective and fun. What child (or adult) could resist tucking into this?! #WhatKidsEat

  2. I didn’t know they sold doughnut holes! Love the squirrel bread x
