This year I have four new heart / Valentine themed meals. My niece made one of them. I have a large collection of heart and Valentine cookie cutters and enjoy using them.
After I made the heart shaped rice, the rest of this meal came together with food I had in the house. I had defrosted frozen sour cherries because I used some for individual sour cherry cobblers (my husband’s favorite).

Top Right: Sour cherries and ricotta

My 16 year old niece made this lunch. She cut the lettering out of carrot and dyed the spaghetti brown. She was inspired by a sculpture one of her Uncles made for her Aunt.

I have a Cupid cookie cutter that I wanted to use so I made a Cupid quesadilla.

Bottom Right: Apple slices cut and stamped with this cutter (dipped in lemon juice and water)
I had fun using my collection of heart cookie cutters to make this snack type meal for my husband.

Top Right: Strawberry yogurt with heart sprinkles
Bottom Right: Heart shaped York Peppermint Patties
