13 Fall Themed Lunches

Fall Themed Lunches Collage

Some people may not understand it but I truly enjoy making and eating cute food. So of course, I made some new Fall/Autumn themed lunches. This collection includes quinoa, sandwich, quesadilla, vegetable potato salad, pizza, onigiri, tortilla chips, and rice lunch ideas.

Acorns and Squirrels

I made this delicious meal for myself. I used a mini acorn cookie cutter as my stencil for the paprika.

Container: EasyLunchBoxes

Left Side: Cooked quinoa with shredded white Cheddar cheese, acorn stencils with hot paprika

Top Right: Snow peas with leaf pick made from a sticker and toothpick

Bottom Right: Squirrel shaped melon

Oak Leaf Lunch

This is one of my favorite leaf themed meals. I get so much pleasure from making things with my hands. Cutting out the oak leaf shapes from potato and bell pepper was relaxing and memorable. This lunch was previously published here.

Simple Owl Lunch

I made this simple owl themed lunch for my husband.

Container: EasyLunchBoxes

Left Side: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich on wheat bread with white and orange Cheddar cheese details, pupils drawn with food safe marker, ears are made from the crust.

Top Right: Cashews

Bottom Right: Raspberries

Fall Leaf Pizza Lunch

I made these leaf pizzas as a planned lunch on a night that I made pizza for dinner.

Container: EasyLunchBoxes

Left Side: Fall leaf shaped pizza with red and yellow bell pepper

Top Right: Colby-Jack cheese leaf cut-outs

Bottom Right: Apple leaf cut-outs with cinnamon

Ginkgo Leaf Bento

I love the shape of the Ginkgo leaf and longtime readers know that I enjoy making lunches with quesadillas. This Ginkgo shaped quesadilla lunch was previously published here.

Leaf Onigiri Lunch

I wanted to make some leaf onigiri so made this for myself for dinner. It was delicious!

Container: EasyLunchBoxes

Left Side: Zucchini sauteed in water with Knorr Homestyle Vegetable Stock, leaf onigiri made with cooked Nishiki rice and cookie cutters, cinnamon is on the left leaf, hot paprika is on the right leaf

Top Right: Cashews

Bottom Right: Plain Greek yogurt with cinnamon

Maple Leaf Lunch

This lunch was an experiment. I used shredded carrot mixed with hot Nishiki rice to form this maple leaf. I did not love the carrot rice but I also don’t like to drink carrot juice. If you love carrots, you may enjoy carrots with rice. Red lettuce made a striking background. It was previously published here.

Fall leaves cream cheese naan

These open-faced cream cheese and cinnamon oak leaf sandwiches were made from Naan bread.

Container: EasyLunchBoxes

Left Side: Cream cheese and cinnamon on Naan bread

Top Right: Applesauce

Bottom Right: Tomato, feta, paprika

Leaf-Bento

I made this leaf sandwich for the daughter of a friend. It was previously published here.

Leaf stencil lunch

Another simple quinoa lunch with a leaf stencil.

Container: EasyLunchBoxes

Left Side: Quinoa with melted Cheddar cheese, leaf cookie cutter used as stencil with hot paprika

Top Right: Blueberries

Bottom Right: Cherry tomatoes

FallingLeavesBento

These leaf shaped tortilla chips and salsa made a wonderful lunch on a sunny fall day. It was previously published here.

Squirrel in Tree lunch

My niece made this squirrel in a tree lunch it was previously published here.

Fall leaves and beets

I am not thrilled with this falling leaves lunch but decided to include it anyway. I used cinnamon in the cream cheese instead of using dye but it does not stand out much from the color of the rice.

Container: ECO Lunchboxes

Main Container: Cooked rice, broccoli stalk, cinnamon cream cheese, cooked beets

Round Container: Cashews

I hope that you enjoyed seeing my fall themed lunch ideas. If you want to continue seeing my creations, please subscribe to my blog via email. Thanks!
