The girls in my life enjoy butterfly themed lunches. But I think that any gender can enjoy a butterfly themed meal. For most of these lunches I used butterfly cookie cutters. As long time readers know, I have a large cookie cutter collection and it keeps on growing. Here are 12 butterfly themed lunches that I made. I made this for my 15 year old niece. She is always happy to have rice for lunch.

Left Side: Nishiki rice with cooked broccoli (I put the broccoli inside a cookie cuter, packed cooked rice around it, then removed the cookie cutter)
Top Right: Fruit yogurt with frozen butterflies (I used a silicone mold)

I made this rice butterfly for my 15 year old niece. I packed fruit, vegetables, and nuts around it.

Contents: Nishiki rice butterfly with corn, peas, cheddar cheese, and carrot (I pressed hot rice into a cookie cutter with plastic wrap to protect my hands), strawberries, blackberries, asparagus, snow peas, Brazil nuts
My 15 year old niece also ate this berry rice with butterflies lunch. I made the berry rice by mixing a few frozen berries into hot cooked rice.
