I wanted to use up some local pears I received from a friend. I made the pear pizza and stuffed pears for dinner and it ended up being a perfect leftovers for lunch meal. The pizza toppings were ingredients I happened to have in the house. I loved it so much, that I will have to make it again sometime.
Roasted Pears: Roasted Pears with Rosemary and Thyme – I did not use the hazelnuts and peeled the pears.
Stuffed Pear: Pear stuffed with a mixture of cream cheese and strawberry jam, with strawberry garnish
Pear Pizza: Pizza dough topped with caramelized onions, sauteed spinach, Sharp Cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, and sliced pear – baked at 425 until done.
