While brainstorming for this lunch I thought about trick-or-treating as a kid. Three of my costumes immediately came to mind.
- Fairy: my wings were so large my parents had to turn me to get out of the door (I was 3)
- Skeleton: my Dad and I made the mask out of paper mache but I cried when I put it on because it scared me
- Domino: my Dad and I made the costume out of a paper box. It was difficult to maneuver stairs while trick-or-treating
Domino trick-or-treater: cheese and mustard sandwich — hair (wheat spaghetti), head (white bread), eyes (Wilton candy eyes), neck & hands (radish), nose & mouth (sprinkles), green shirt & pants (snow pea), domino (pumpernickel bread & sugar confetti), shoes (black beans)
Pumpkin candy holder: pumpkin (carrot), jack-0-lantern face (food coloring), handle (licorice)
Seeds: pumpkin seeds
Fruit: mini caramel apples with butterscotch chips
