Week 10 TAST Running Stitch

The stitch for week 10 of TAST is the Running stitch. Click on the image for a larger view.

I think that most of the rows on this sampler are Darning stitches. Darning stitches fall under the Running stitch category. I had fun working with these stitches.

Look at all the variety with the running stitch! What a beautiful sampler! I particularly like the one with the loops on the top and bottom and the four stitches holding them in place. That’s very clever!

I like your little sampler. The running stitch seems so simple but can be used in so many ways.
Thank you for visiting my blog and your kind words.
It was interesting to read about your son’s bento and Japantown, too.
    Cheers from Tokyo
