Galentine Tea Party

I hosted a small Galantine’s Day themed tea party. The idea came about last summer when Renae, Natalie, and I went to a Tea Party at Sonnenberg Gardens. I said I could do a Valentine themed tea party. Of course, I pulled it off and we were thrilled with the result! Renae, Natalie, Jeanine, and I enjoyed the beautiful and delicious food.

Table Decor:

  • Place Card: Wrote names on small Whitman’s heart box
  • Menu Card: Printed menu and glued to a red heart doily
  • Napkins: Paper floral
  • Tablecloth: White
  • Placemat: Cork Heart placemats with floral pattern
  • Plates: Red Rose that my Grandfather bought in Germany a long time ago
  • Arrangement: Cyclamen (from Wegmans)

Tea: Twining’s Raspberry & Lemon

Tea Tiers:

  • Savories: Heart Shaped Strawberry Cream Cheese sandwiches (I blended pureed fresh strawberries with softened cream cheese), Hash Brown Parmesan Cups, Pesto Palmiers (I made ahead, put in freezer and baked day of party)
  • Scones: Apricot Oat (I made ahead, put in freezer and baked day of party) served with fresh whipped cream (with a little powdered sugar and vanilla)
  • Sweets: Individual Heart Cheesecakes, Fruit Skewer (grapes, raspberry and cheddar heart cut with a cookie cutter), Ghirardelli Signature Collection chocolates
