Carol’s birthday was a few days ago. I made her favorite meal – Vegetable Wellington with Citrus White Wine sauce. I also made roasted broccoli with fresh lemon and Parmesan cheese. To keep things easy for me on a worknight, I bought a small Tiramisu from Wegmans. The powdered sugar stencil was more beautiful in the store, it did not travel well. Carol’s gift from me also served as a table arrangement.

My dining room is already decorated for Valentine’s Day since I put those decorations up right after Christmas decorations come down. I am glad that I now have a birthday banner that coordinates with my dining room, I hung it for the occasion.
