Giraffe Bento

Giraffe Lunch

I knew that I wanted to create a giraffe themed lunch. I went back and forth about what food I would use for the giraffe. I am so glad that I ended up with a quesadilla because the browning looked like giraffe print! My 10 year old nephew ate this at my house when here on a Saturday.

Fruit: Kiwi with giraffe picks

Giraffe Egg: Baby carrots, giraffe cookies (inside egg)

Giraffe Scene: background (cheese quesadilla) with some food safe market coloring, tree (pretzel sticks and broccoli), giraffe (cheese quesadilla), giraffe’s tail and tongue (Wegmans fruit flat)

    Thank you! Sometimes the bento turns out as in my head and other times it does not. I was very pleased with this one.

    Thank you! My nephew prefers hot quesadillas but does not mind eating it cold if it is cute.

    This is very creative! The giraffe and tree is so artistic fit to be displayed on the wall.
