This was the first bento I made from the Cooking with Trader Joe’s Cookbook: Easy Lunch Boxes by Kelly Lester. The book features recipes from many contributors. The Waffle Pizzaaaah! recipe (page 152) is from Corey of Family Fresh Meals. She blogged about her contribution to the cookbook here.
My 14 year old niece and I prepared this lunch together. We made the vegetarian version of the recipe and used different sides. It was a quick and easy lunch to make. I added a little lamb pick for fun. This is an amazing recipe and while we ate, we kept saying how satisfying the lunch was.
