In celebration of Valentine’s Day I am joining my Bento Bloggers & Friends on a Valentine themed bento blog hop. Please use the button at the end of this post to see what the other bento bloggers made.
I made this meal for my husband.
Container: EasyLunchBoxes
Fruit: Strawberries cut into hearts
Cookies: Heart shaped sugar cookies
Pizza: Heart shaped pizza (I used a cookie cutter with homemade dough), green pepper wording, lettuce and carrot background, ranch dip in Mini Dippers

Yogurt: Plain Greek yogurt with frozen yogurt heart (plain Greek yogurt mixed with strawberry jam)
Pistachio Nuts: I was inspired by these footballs created by Becoming a Bentoholic. I used a food safe marker to draw hearts on pistachios.
Potato Salad: Potato and red pepper hearts with olive oil and Trader Joe’s Pomegranate Vinegar

Your Valentine pizza looks yummy! The pistacios are fun – at first glance I thought they were green olives with pimentos and I wondered how you got red heart shaped pimentos!
Thank you so much Mary Lee! It would be fun to figure out how to make heart shaped pimentos. Also I am not sure if I ever used green olives in a bento but it is a great idea – colorful.
