When I put a call-out for shaped bread suggestions, a friend suggested that I make giraffe shaped bread. I was up for the challenge. When I told my Mom about it she suggested that I make a Mom and baby. My baby did not turn out as small as I would have wanted but I still think it is cute. During the process of making this lunch I remembered that I had mini giraffe cutters. Thanks to my cookie cutter collection, I was able to make giraffe shaped carrots.
Container: EasyLunchBoxes
Giraffes: The Mom and young giraffe are made from homemade french bread dough, with food marker details (after baking), background and vegetation in front (snow peas), cheddar cheese
Vegetable: Carrots
Fruit: Dried apricots
Lovely giraffes, how many different cookie cutter in your collection, such so cute! 🙂
Thank you! I am not sure of the number but it keeps growing. I am considering making a post of my entire collection but trying to find a way to make it interesting. This post https://eclecticlamb.com/2013/02/13/stitched-valentines-day-cards/ includes my Heart/Valentine cutters I had last year.
They are lovely heart shapes!
Simply wonderful!

Very clever! How does anyone bring themselves to eat these? They’re too cute!
Thank you so much! The meal I had the most trouble eating because I loved it so much was the Charlie Brown and Lucy meal. https://eclecticlamb.com/2013/11/26/charlie-brown-and-lucy-bento/
