I made french bread pizzas for my niece, nephews, and myself one day at home. I thought it would be fun to make a french bread pizza bento. The kids loved their lunches!
Container: EasyLunchBoxes
Fruit: Watermelon
Vegetable: Green beans
Pizza: Homemade french bread with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese.

that looks good…
Thank you!
well, that being said, I’m curious, what is bento??
Bento is the Japanese art of a boxed lunch. It can be a character bento or not. But it is varied food presented in an attractive lunch. A majority of my “bento” are an American spin on the boxed lunch.
ok, I just didn’t know what that word meant. : D
This looks delicious!
Thank you Jean!
delicious as always
Thank you!
These are all great ideas, but much of what you post looks as though it should be eaten warmed/hot. Do the recipients of your lunches have the ability to reheat items at lunchtime? My son would eat some of the ideas you suggest, but not if they were cold. That said, my son is quite picky and won’t eat much of anything. Your feedback is appreciated. 😀
Many of my lunches are eaten cold or at room temperature. The people who eat them are fine with that. I am afraid that I don’t have much advice. I will eat most things cold but not spaghetti with sauce. I posted it recently because my nephew requested it. My husband has access to a microwave at work but he instead usually eats his lunch cold (even rice and twice baked potatoes). Here is a pinterest board with a lot of variety http://pinterest.com/scarino/bento-bloggers-and-friends/ hopefully you can find inspiration that your son will eat.
Wow! Thank you. I think my son would wince at anything served cold that is usually eaten warm (pizza excluded). I appreciate your reply!
