Old McDonald Sheep

This week I am featuring nursery rhymes/songs with sheep/lambs.

Old McDonald has a farm, Ee-i-ee-i-o, And on his farm he had a sheep, Ee-i-ee-i-o

With a baa-baa here, And a baa-baa there, Here a baa, there a baa , Everywhere a baa-baa

Old MacDonald  had a farm, Ee-i-ee-i-o.

Background: Flour tortilla painted with a little blue food coloring and water

Baa-Baa: Carrot

Sheep: Peanut butter sandwich on wheat bread, eyes (chocolate sprinkles), nose (food safe marker)

Barn: Watermelon, door (Wegmans fruit flat details), apple slices

Wildflowers: Yellow bell pepper, centers (dried blueberries attached with spaghetti – it softens by lunch)

  2. Darling! When my kids and grandkids were littler,I would add more and more animals.To keep them straight, I’d put the chickens, geese , ducks and rooster in between the four-footed animals to try to keep them straight.If I messed up, they’d always let me know!

    Thank you! Yes, the moisture from the bell peppers softens the spaghetti after a few hours.
