This is my first time making a knight bento. I see many knights/armor bentos in my future because my 8 year old nephew is very interested in them now.
I am not thrilled with how this turned out so if you have any suggestions on how to make food look like a knight, I would appreciate it. I prefer not to use food coloring/dyes.
Container: ECO Lunchboxes
Background: Tortilla
Fruit: Mandarins
Trees: Asparagus and broccoli
Knight & Armor for Horse: Tortilla with food safe maker and food coloring paste, some black and white sesame seeds finely ground
Horse: Peanut butter sandwich on wheat bread

We’re thinking about it. You could use greens for his armor and make a radish helmet,(or use the red part for the helmet and cut away leaving white for the face. You could do that with a small apple as well, or a slice/half of apple I’m not really into Bento -mode; I just enjoy yours !
Thank you for the suggestions!
P.S. I love your ‘trees’!
Thank you!
It looks nice! Mtetar
Thank you!
You’re always more than welcome. Be Blessed, Mtetar
I think it looks fantastic! I’m thinking along the lines of making sword/shield shaped sandwiches for future knight themed lunches, I too suspect it will be requested again the future! Thanks for linking up!
Thanks Grace!
Looks like a Knight to me.
Thank you so much!
