The theme this week at the Bento Blog Network is Politicians. I decided to do a bento for United States President James Buchanan. He was one of seven presidents thought to be born in a log cabin (Andrew Jackson, Zachary Taylor, Millard Fillmore, James Buchanan, Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant, and James Abram Garfield).
Some other facts about Buchanan:
- 15th President
- In office between Franklin Pierce and Abraham Lincoln
- Consistent ranking by historians as one of the worst Presidents

I adore these fun food creations. As a daycare owner, I think with these ideas, I could perhaps entice them to eat better!
