Alligator Bento

I made this bento lunch for my 9 year old nephew.

I used my french bread recipe for the alligator but somewhat followed the shaping directions from this recipe. The greased aluminum foil ball worked out great to hold the alligator’s mouth open. The eyes are dried blueberries.

The pasta swamp is Wegmans Foglie Di Ulivo Spinach Pasta served with butter and Parmesan cheese.

Also included are cucumber (eggs), gummy fish, and a clementine.

My nephew loved this lunch!

Love it! And I LOVE the spinach pasta from Wegman’s. It’s nice to see someone using something from a store I’m familiar with instead of the constant “Whole Foods” this or “Trader Joe’s” that. LOL! Hooray for New York!!!

you asked how I attached the red sugar to the robin sandwiches – I spread butter in an arc where I wanted the red sugar to stick . :)
